When do I get a new crown or cross?

You can read a detailed description of this in the Ranks page under Getting Started.

Why don’t I see my kingdom on the Global Power Points (GPP) list, even though I’ve already played more than 100 games?

A) Because you haven’t played in more than a week.

B) There is a filter on the site that filters out players who are restarting, so they do not endanger players who are truly beginners. Players who restart are pitted against each other or against a bot – they do not appear in the standings or participate in the championship matches.

The basis for the filtering is secret, but the system will certainly not filter out a player who has never played ConQUIZtador in his/her life. The filter cannot be avoided.

C)The PSP rankings are split into divisions, in the following manner:
* 200 games – 6000 PSP
* 400 games – 6800 PSP
* 600 games – 7600 PSP
* 800 games – 8400 PSP

Players who reach a given number of GPP points in fewer games do not appear on the list. They only appear once the necessary number of games has been played.

Why don’t I see my kingdom in the ASP (Answer Strength Points) standings, even though I’ve already played 100 games?

A) Because you haven’t played in more than a week.

B) You haven’t played in a long time; you need to answer at least 20 guess questions to appear in the standings.

MY KINGDOM

How can I confirm my registration?

When you registered, we sent you a code that you must use to confirm it. If you click on the link (in blue letters) in the e-mail, the code will be entered automatically, and in 5 days all you need to do is enter your personal information (year of birth, postal code, and sex) to become a full user of the site.
If you deleted this e-mail, you will see a line that reads “Resend registration code HERE”. When you click on the HERE, another window will open that lets you check whether the address you gave is correct. You can change that if you need to (click on “Change e-mail address HERE”).

Can Golden Tallers be transferred to another kingdom?

No.

How can I delete my kingdom?

Write a letter to a moderator through the Royal Post (see Moderators menu).

How can I change the password to my kingdom?

Log into your kingdom, and click first on the My Kingdom menu, then on the Throne Room menu. Enter your old password, and the new one underneath it. Confirm your new password, then click on the Save Changes button (don’t forget this last part! :o)

How can I change the description of my Kingdom?

Log into your kingdom, and click on the My Kingdom menu, then on the Throne Room menu. Rewrite your description, then click on the Save Changes button (don’t forget this last part! :o)

Can I change the name of my kingdom?
No.

ERROR MESSAGES

What do I need to download to play the game?

You need the Macromedia Flash Player. You can download it here.

Why does nothing happen when I press the Start Game button?

The game starts in a popup window to maximize screen space for playing. Sometimes the browser is set to block Javascript or popup windows, which will result in the above situation. You need to allow these in order to play.
Also, sometimes another program – not the browser – is blocking (e.g. Naviscope). You should check that too.

Why can’t I write in my answer, even though the cursor is flashing?

Click on the write-in answer window and it will work. If you happen to be doing something else in the meantime, the cursor could be active somewhere else, even if it looks to be in the right place.

What should I do if the chat isn’t scrolling in the waiting room and I can’t see my own messages?

Click on the New Game button again, on the Main Page.

Why do I get an “Error 7” message during the game?

This error is caused when you play behind a proxy server. This is set in your browser, or by a central server at your workplace. The system operator can help at work.
In a browser, you can fix it like this:

For Internet Explorer:
“Tools” - > “Settings”-> click on the “Connection” tab in the window that opens.
At the bottom of the “Connection” window: “Change” button-> uncheck “Proxy Server on Local Network” .
Then “OK” twice.

For Mozilla Firefox:
“Tools “ menu-> “Options” -> in the window that opens, click the “General” icon->
In the lower right corner, click “Connection Settings…” -> check “Direct connection to the Internet”.
Then “OK” twice.

Why do I get an “Error 401” or “Error 3” message?

The 401 and 3 errors indicate that connection to the server has been lost. Error 401 indicates this immediately, and Error 3 generally appears after one minute.
We think most such messages are due to imperfect communication lines. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about that. We have tried to make communications as error-tolerant as possible (the client tries to reach the server several times), but unfortunately there are many cases where this does not help. Some networks produce this lost connection often, and others only rarely.

In order that other players not be disadvantaged by interrupted games, a bot replaces the dropped player.

If you get an Error 3 message, we recommend allowing connections through port 2002 on your firewall, which will allow the program to access a more stable communication system.

Rejoining the Game

To reduce the consequences of dropped connections, you can rejoin a game (assuming it’s still underway). Click on the “Reconnect” button in the game client, or re-click the “Start Game” button on the web page. If the game is still underway, only one room will open in the game client, where you can see your opponents. You can rejoin the game by logging into the room, and get back 400 points of the 500 that were deducted when you exited or were dropped.

When I press the “Start Game” button, all I get is an empty window. What is the problem?

In most cases, this will be solved if you download and install the newest version of Flash Player. You can get the latest version here.

For Internet Explorer:
Click on “Install Now” in the window that opens. If you get a “Security Warning” dialog, click on “Yes” to complete the installation.

For Netscape 6.x:
Click on “Install Now” in the window that opens. Choose a directory to install “flashplayer6installer.exe”, and make a note of it.

After downloading, close all browser windows and start the file you just downloaded. In the windows that open, just keep clicking on the “Next” option.

After installation, you can restart the browser.

You can check whether installation was successful on this page. There should be a caption saying “Version 7.0.19.0 installed successfully”. If you do not see this message, repeat the above steps.

It can also help to delete temporary files, which can be done with the disk maintenance program.

Some players have indicated that it sometimes helps to reinstall Internet Explorer.
