Hey, I just encountered this question which had an incorrect solution to it. I think it ought to be fixed ;)

The question is, "What is the capital of China?"

The answer choices are, Peking, 2 misspellings of peking, and None of the Above.

The "solution" is None of the Above.

The answer is Peking.

It's true that since we've gone to the pinyin spelling convention, the typical romanization used these days is Beijing. And it's also true that Beijing sounds way more like the actual Chinese pronunciation, but that's beside the point. 'Peking' and 'Beijing' represent the same place, the same two words in Chinese - 北京.

So, yes, the capital of china IS Peking :)
